Hi08 Volcano Night
This volcano at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park can be viewed from the Jagger Museum overlook. In May of 2015 there was greatly heightened lava activity within the crater, but no lava flowing into the ocean. Notice the many stars in the sky. It is interesting to think this exact scene has been going on for many millions of years, creating the very land I was standing on to capture this image.
